In recent months, Stephen Wilson KC and Christopher Wells have actively engaged with top-tier international legal and financial communities at notable conferences worldwide. These events not only broadened their network but also strengthened their commitment to providing clients with global insights and partnerships.

In June, Stephen attended the IR Global Conference in Boston, gaining access to a network of over 1,400 professionals from legal, financial, and advisory sectors. This gathering allowed Wilson Wells to deepen its international reach and stay at the forefront of industry practices that directly benefit their clients in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

In September, Stephen represented the firm at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference in Mexico City. This event brought together top global experts to discuss current trends and best practices in law. As a part of the IBA, Wilson Wells can connect clients with a wealth of expertise, reinforcing their presence on the international stage and ensuring the firm is equipped with the latest insights.

In October, Wilson Wells proudly sponsored the 11th Annual Private Wealth Latin America & The Caribbean Forum in Miami. This event offered valuable perspectives on asset allocation, succession planning, and economic trends, providing a collaborative space to meet and exchange ideas with regional leaders. Both Stephen and Chris connected with key figures, enhancing their understanding of the latest wealth management trends.

Whilst in Miami, Stephen Wilson KC also attended the C5 Fraud, Asset Tracing & Recovery conference. The event brought together top experts in asset recovery and insolvency from the US, UK, EU, Caribbean and Latin America, offering world-renowned speakers and engaging interactive sessions. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with key figures in the industry and we’re excited about the connections and knowledge gained from this important event.

To further broaden their network in the LATAM region, Stephen attended the IR Global LATAM Meeting in Costa Rica in November. The event, which included a variety of networking and cultural activities, offered an excellent opportunity for Wilson Wells to strengthen connections in the region, ultimately enriching the services and insights they provide to clients.

Our final conference of the year was the ABA’s 2024 ILS Fall Conference in London, marking 100 years of ABA visits to the UK. The conference explored the theme of the interaction between innovation and tradition in law and legal practice in the UK and the U.S. over the past century and anticipated developments in the next 100 years.

Through these engagements, Wilson Wells stays informed on international and regional developments, which helps our clients navigate complex legal landscapes both locally in the Turks and Caicos Islands and beyond. Learn more about our global reach: www.wilsonwells.com/international
